Andrew is a Registered Nurse with a clinical background in medical/surgical nursing and critical care nursing. Andrew has worked in nursing administration at a community hospital in Western Massachusetts, overseeing the daily operations of three medical/surgical units, contributing to quality improvement projects, engaging in recruitment and retention of nursing staff, and participating in the implementation of evidence-based care practices on his units.
Andrew earned his BA in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts in 2014. After working as a Harm Reduction Counselor for a non-profit health center, Andrew returned to the University of Massachusetts to earn his BSN in 2018. Andrew earned his MSN in 2025 with dual focuses on Nursing Education and Nursing Administration. Andrew assisted in implementing a Purposeful Rounding initiative on the medical-surgical units he oversaw as his Nursing Administration capstone. Andrew assisted in the development of the Foundations of Caregiving course at 麻豆射区官方 University as his Nursing Education capstone.
Andrew currently serves as adjunct faculty in the Nursing Departments at 麻豆射区官方 University and Greenfield Community College. Andrew also works as an infusion nurse and as a nursing supervisor.
